Information about the BKK Braun-Gillette

Dear prospective client

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the BKK Braun-Gillette Health Plan.
We are a German state health insurer with a contribution rate of 14,9 %.
Anybody who comes to Germany from abroad to work can be insured under our health insurance plan.

Your contribution will be calculated from your gross salary but at no more than the current income threshold of 3,675 € per month. Your age, sex and health status are irrelevant when calculating the contribution to be paid and the amount you pay will have no influence on claims to our medical service fund.

This solidarity principle is also reflected in the free family insurance for spouses and children, provided that their income does not exceed the monthly threshold of 400 € .

The BKK Braun-Gillette promises to provide for:

• the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of illnesses
• medical rehabilitation
• sickness benefits
• pregnancy and maternity benefits.
• financial contributions for those in need of intensive nursing care are provided in the separate long-term care insurance system.
  

All these services are covered by your BKK insurance card. To apply for coverage, simply complete the application form and return it to us. If you have questions at any time, we will be more than happy to assist – "Capable, reliable and there for me, always".
